Getting started

Where does MTAC provide service?

We serve Kingwood, Atascocita, Humble, Porter, Spring, and The Woodlands, Texas. Call or text to confirm availability for a nearby project.

Is MTAC fully insured?

Yes. MTAC Painting And Pressure Washing LLC is fully insured. Insurance documentation is available when planning your project.

Do you handle residential and commercial projects?

Yes. Our work includes homes, offices, restaurants, retail spaces, churches, and other commercial properties. Preparation, products, access, and scheduling are evaluated for each project.

Can an estimate start with photos?

Yes. Send your location, approximate measurements, requested service and timing. Text photos to 832-407-3010. Many estimates can begin remotely; an on-site review may be needed to confirm condition and scope.

Does the calculator give a final quote?

No. It provides a preliminary range for interior painting, exterior painting, pressure washing, or garage epoxy floors. Surface condition, repairs, materials, access, and the final scope can change the price.

Do you provide free estimates?

Yes. Request a free, no-obligation estimate for your project. We review the proposed work, preparation, access, materials, timing, and expectations before providing the scope.

Service questions

Interior, exterior & cabinet painting

Do you refinish cabinets?

Yes. Cabinet refinishing is part of our interior painting services. We review the existing finish, desired look, preparation, and appropriate coating system before providing a detailed scope.

How are coatings selected for my project?

We select coatings for the surface, existing finish, durability needs, and project requirements. The coating system is confirmed in your written scope.

How do you prepare before painting?

We protect surrounding areas, clean and prepare surfaces, sand or degloss where needed, address agreed repairs, caulk appropriate gaps, and apply primer as specified for the project.

Can you work with HOA color requirements?

Yes. We can help match approved color palettes and assist with project information for HOA submissions. Obtain any required approvals before work begins.

How long can an interior or exterior paint job last?

With suitable preparation, coatings, and maintenance, interior finishes may last around 7–10 years and exterior finishes around 5–8 years. These are general planning ranges, not guarantees; sun, moisture, surface condition, use, and maintenance affect performance.

How is cabinet preparation different from wall painting?

Cabinets need evaluation of the existing finish, cleaning and degreasing, appropriate sanding or deglossing, and a compatible primer and finish system. We protect the surrounding kitchen and discuss doors, drawers, hardware, and application details in the scope.

What is included in an exterior painting scope?

The proposal identifies the surfaces, cleaning, preparation, agreed repairs, caulking, primer, coating system, and finish coats. Landscaping, windows, doors, and adjacent surfaces are protected as appropriate. Repairs and excluded areas are clarified before work starts.

Service questions

Pressure & soft washing

What is the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?

Pressure washing uses controlled water pressure for suitable hard surfaces. Soft washing uses lower pressure and an appropriate cleaning process for more delicate materials. We choose the method based on the surface.

What surfaces can you clean?

We clean suitable driveways, sidewalks, patios, siding, brick, stucco, fences, decks, and commercial exteriors. The method and pressure depend on the material and condition; not every surface should be cleaned with high pressure.

How often should a home be washed in the Texas climate?

Many properties benefit from exterior cleaning about once a year, but shade, humidity, vegetation, buildup, and surface condition can change that schedule. We can discuss what makes sense for your property.

Do you clean commercial properties?

Yes. We provide exterior cleaning for commercial storefronts, offices, retail properties, warehouses, and other suitable buildings and surfaces. Access, nearby activities, and the cleaning method are reviewed for the property.

Service questions

Fence & deck staining

What preparation does a fence or deck need before staining?

We review the wood condition, existing stain or paint, and the desired finish. The scope may include cleaning, removal of loose or incompatible material, sanding, and agreed repairs. The wood must be suitable for the selected coating before application.

Can you stain wood that already has a coating?

The existing coating matters. A transparent, semitransparent, or solid finish may require a different preparation approach, and some existing coatings need removal before a new system can be applied. We assess compatibility before defining the work.

Service questions

Epoxy floor coatings

What goes into a garage epoxy floor?

The planned system includes concrete assessment, moisture testing, mechanical preparation, agreed repairs, epoxy, decorative flake, and a protective clear topcoat. Curing and return-to-use instructions depend on the system and site conditions.

Do you install epoxy coatings for commercial properties and other concrete areas?

Yes. In addition to garages, we evaluate workshops, warehouses, retail spaces, offices, showrooms, patios, pool decks, and other concrete areas. Suitability, moisture, exposure, use, and the coating system must be assessed for each project.

Why are moisture testing and mechanical preparation important?

A slab can look dry while moisture is moving through it. Testing helps identify concerns, while mechanical preparation creates the surface profile needed by the selected system. Contamination, cracks, and moisture conditions must be addressed before coating.

When can I walk or park on a new epoxy floor?

Follow the return-to-service instructions for your installed system. Walking, moving heavy items, and parking may have different waiting periods. The products, temperature, humidity, ventilation, and site conditions determine the schedule.

Service questions

Parking lot striping

Do you stripe commercial parking lots?

Yes. We offer restriping, new layouts, stencils, and designated pavement markings. We confirm the site plan and project requirements before application.

How often should a parking lot be restriped?

Many lots need restriping about every 1–3 years. Traffic, weather, pavement condition, existing paint, and visibility of the markings affect the timing. We review the condition before recommending the work.

Can you restripe over existing lines?

Yes, when the existing layout is being retained and the surface is suitable. If the layout is changing, existing markings may need removal or modification. The preparation and new layout are defined in the scope.

Can you lay out and stripe a new parking lot?

Yes. We can discuss new parking layouts, stall spacing, directional markings, and designated spaces. We confirm the plan, site requirements, surface condition, and application schedule before work begins.

Can you paint accessible parking spaces, access aisles, and fire-lane markings?

Yes. We can apply the agreed accessible-space symbols, access aisles, fire-lane markings, arrows, and stencils. Site-specific layout, signage, dimensions, and other requirements must be confirmed for the property; painted markings alone do not establish compliance.

Can I request an estimate for a small restriping job?

Yes. Contact us for a free, no-obligation estimate, whether you need a few spaces refreshed, stencils, or a larger layout. Include the location and the markings you need. Text photos to 832-407-3010.
